The Castillo de San Marcos presents, "Soldiers through Time," a special candlelight tour on the evening of Saturday, November 22, 2014. This timeline tour of the fort features groups of professional re-enactors, each one representing a particular period of St. Augustine history.

Volunteers and staff depict the "soldiers," who have returned for one night to the fort they manned over the 341-year history of the Castillo, ranging from soldados from the First Spanish Period in the late 17th century, when the fort was built, 18th-century British Redcoats, Civil War combatants (both Union and Confederate), and World War II soldiers.

As guests tour through the fort, they can meet and interact with the re-enactors and learn what their lives were like in each historical period. There will be six tours, spaced 15 minutes apart, beginning at 6:45, with the last one departing at 8:00 p.m.

Admission: Tickets are $8 per adult and $4 for kids ages 5 - 15, while children under 5 are free.
