The Limelight Theater presents a special, two-day run of the musical, Spookley, the Square Pumpkin, with shows and 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., on both Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Based on the book by Joe Troiano, and the animated musical that followed, the theater production about Spookley tells the tale of a square pumpkin living in a patch of round pumpkins. Ultimately, Spookley's friends, the spiders Edgar, Allan, and Poe, teach him that his peculiar shape doesn't diminish his worth. Of course, something threatens the pumpkin patch and Spookley saves the day.
