On Saturday, September 29, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., the St. Augustine Film Society hosts a screening of Brian and Charles (2022.)

Written by David Earl and Chris Hayward and directed by Jim Archer, this quirky and sweet film from Wales also features David Earl and Chris Hayward in the lead roles of Brian and Charles. Brian, the inventor, lonely after a long winter, builds a friend/child robot he names Charles. Part sci-fi, part fantasy, this drama and comedy touches on themes of friendship, loneliness, depression, and family. The first full-length feature film directed by Jim Archer received positive reviews and grossed more than $800,000. 

Admission: $8.00 for non-members of the St. Augustine Film Society. Members are free.
