The St. Augustine Film Society hosts a showing of the award-winning film, In the Fade (2017) on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Waterworks.
Written and directed by Fatih Akin, this German thriller follows a young family of three — Nuri (father), Katja (mother), and Rocco (six-year-old son) — who have finally found peace in their routine. Everything comes crashing down once a racially motivated attack strikes Nuri's office and takes his and Rocco's lives. The devastation of losing her family fuels Katja's fight for revenge on the people who planned the bombing.
Admission: $10.00 for the public. Students and St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

Getting There: While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only, so it is not available to access the Waterworks.
