Written and produced by François Girard, this story follows a red-colored violin that's been in the hands of many walks of life. The musical instrument journeys through an 18th-century Austrian monastery, 19th-century Oxford, China during the Cultural Revolution, and Montreal, Canada where it's up for auction. Since the violin's creation in 1681, the mystery and secrets of past owners still live within the object.
