Jacksonville Balloon Festival

The 2023 Balloon Festival in Northeast Florida will be held in Duval County, over 60 miles north of St. Augustine, on Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, 2023. People who have unused tickets to the 2022 festival at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, may use those tickets at this event.

The entire family can join in the fun at Northeast Florida's Hot Air Balloon Festival. The two-day festival will feature hot air balloon rides, a kids zone, craft and retail vendors, food trucks, as well as a DJ and live music.

Tethered Hot air Balloon rides will be available for purchase during the event for $25 per person, while supplies last and weather permitting.

At 9:00 p.m., the Grand Finale will feature a Hot Air Balloon Glow & Laser show where the balloons are lit up in unison. The show incorporates music and visually stunning coordinated burns by the Hot Air Balloons and Lasers.

Guests are invited to bring blankets, chairs and umbrellas to set up their own ideal viewing spot.

Admission: $20 for adults and $8 for children ages 6 to 18. Children 5 and under are free. Balloon rides are an additional $25.00 per person.

When: The event begins at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Gates may open earlier.
