St. Augustine Lighthouse-Sea The Celebration

Sea The Celebration honors the 500th Birthday Commemoration of Florida in 2013 as the St. Augustine Lighthouse will be a shining a special light which will shine 36,000 feet into the sky. It commemorates the January 31, 1782, when 16 British loyalist ships sank coming into St. Augustine. The Lighthouse will be open to 8 p.m. with tours to the top of the tower to view Nights of Lights from above. You can see the light from across the bay and can watch for the light to appear in the sky from 5:30 to 8 p.m. each night. Call (904) 829-0745 for additional details
