This camp goes from July 22nd - July 26th with drop off times at 9 am everyday and pickup times at 4 pm everyday.

This weeks camp is titled British Ballyhoo - Sailing, Navigation, Shipwrecks, Archaeology, and Artifacts. Completed K - 2nd Graders - Campers will experiment with the life of a sailor! They will be tying sailor's knots, learn navigating using instruments and maps, will make and eat hardtack as well as learn songs that all British sailors in the 17th Century knew! Then they'll discover, record, and excavate a British shipwreck and conserve the artifacts brought to the surface, just like Lighthouse maritime archaeologists!Completed 3rd - 5th Graders are also invited to the British Ballyhoo - Sailing, Navigation, Shipwrecks, Archaeology, and Artifacts camp. Campers will discover, record, and excavate a British shipwreck and conserve artifacts using the techniques of Lighthouse maritime archaeologist and create their own exhibit! They will also get to view artifacts that have recently been recovered from the sea floor and learn about them from real archaeologists. Campers will also create maps and practice with 18th century navigation, and learn how to be a British sailor.Call (904) 829 - 0745 for more information on the camps and how to register your child.
