Swing with the Big Bands at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents a special opportunity to dance at "Swing with the Big Bands" on Sunday, March 5, 2023, beginning with an optional dance lesson at 5:00 p.m. and continuing with a show and dance floor at 6:00 p.m.

Presented by Friends of Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, The TBA Big Band, the region's only pro big band playing the music of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, and Duke Ellington, will perform music that will get feet tapping and guests moving on the dance floor.

 The evening begins at 5:00 with a dance lesson from two-time World Dance Champion Heiko Layhausen, who will introduce dancers to the Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, and other dances. At 6:00 p.m., the 17-member TBA Big Band will perform an evening of big band tunes for those who wish to dance and those who wish to just listen and enjoy the show.

Admission: Tickets range from $10.00 to $20.00 and can be purchased on line or at the Amphitheater Box Office on Anastasia Island, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

When: Sunday, March 5, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. for the dance lessons. The doors open at 4:30.

Parking Information: Free parking will be available onsite. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
