Veterans Day Celebration at Anastasia Church
The Veterans Council of St. Johns County along with the Military Officers Association of America, Ancient City Chapter will host an event to honor this day. The main speaker will be Robert A. Hardwick, the St. Johns County Sheriff and an Operation Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom veteran. There will also be a featured performance from Vann Morris and the St. Augustine High School Chorale.
It will be at Anastasia Church, located at 1650 A1A South, St. Augustine, 32080. The doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. There is free parking onsite.

Honor Local Veterans at The Palencia Club

The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce invites the public to honor local veterans on Thursday, November 7, 2024. A panel of men and women will discuss their military experience and how it has impacted their lives.
It will be at The Palencia Club, located at 600 Palencia Club Drive, St. Augustine, 32095. The event will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Members are $35.00 and non-members are $45.00.

Veterans Day Commemoration at the Castillo de San Marcos
Note: This is on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
The Castillo de San Marcos will honor Veterans Day by hosting a special event showcasing a timeline and the U.S. Military heroes during the fort's history, from 1821 to 1945.
The Castillo is located at 1 South Castillo Drive, St. Augustine, 32084. The event will be presented from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Regular admission fees apply. There is a parking lot in front of the fort with pay stations — $2.50 an hour.

Boil and a Brew Fundraiser at Ancient City Brewing Co. Brewhouse
Note: This is on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
Outer Banks Boil Company and Ancient City Brewing will partner to help fundraise for 904Paws Foundation Inc. which supports the training of service dogs for local veterans. Enjoy a seafood boil with seasoned shrimp, sausage, red bliss potatoes, corn on the cob, and onions. Also, pair the meal with a pint of beer.
Ancient City Brewing Co. Brewhouse is located at 3420 Agricultural Center Drive, Suite 8, St. Augustine, 32092. The event will be from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.00 with food and drink included. $10.00 from each ticket will be donated to 904Paws.

Old Town Trolley Tours
On Monday, November 11, 2024, Historic Tours of America will offer all military (veterans, active-duty, retired, and honorably discharged) and first responders complimentary admission to the Old Town Trolley Tour, the Old Jail, the Oldest Store Museum, and Potter's Wax Museum.
Additionally, in partnership with Patriot Service Dogs, Old Town Trolleys will again sponsor a service dog for a disabled veteran, donating $1.00 from every ticket sold on Veterans Day to that organization. Old Town Trolleys has sponsored six puppies for veterans so far.

The attractions below offer free admission and discounts to veterans on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024:
The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum offers 10% off for veterans and free admission for active military with ID and up to three dependents.
The National Park Service presents free admission to all military (veterans, active-duty, retired, and honorably discharged) to the Castillo de San Marcos. An ID is required.
Red Boat Tours: Veterans ride free on Veterans Day, on either the Dolphin Odyssey and Sightseeing Tour at noon or the B.Y.O. Sunset Cruise at 4:45. All veterans receive a 15% discount through November 2024. Call (904) 436-3566 to book those tours.
