Walking in the Footsteps of Florida's First People

As part of Native American Heritage Month, Washington Oaks Gardens State Park presents a program about the Timucuan tribe.

Florida State Parks are honoring Native American Heritage Month with several programs at parks all over the state. "Walking in the Footsteps of Florida's First People" will focus on the Timucuan tribe in northeast Florida. The event will take place at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park on Sunday, November 25, 2018.

The whole family is welcome to come and learn about the Native Americans that lived in this area. The program will feature a variety of hands-on activities and is free with regular park admission.

Admission: Free with regular park admission: $5 per vehicle with up to 8 people, $4 for vehicle with one occupant, and $2 for pedestrians/bicyclists.

When: From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Where: Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is located two miles south of Marineland off A1A South, at 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. in Palm Coast FL 32137.
