Emma Concert Association presents another in their series of free events, "Words and Music at the Waterworks," on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The June concert features Lorri Gill in her tribute to Patsy Cline.

In a show titled “Time Only Adds to the Flame,” Lorri brings the words and music of Patsy Kline, sharing her stories and some of her songs. This influential American singer, topped both the country and pop charts and was one of the first country music artists to do so.

Lorri, originally from North Dakota, now lives in Palatka and frequently sings at various venues in the area. At one point Lorri Gill and the Notebenders presented a Queens of Country show that included songs made famous by Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Tammy Wynette. Patsy Cline released three albums in her short professional career, and is still known for her singles, "Crazy," and "Walking After Midnight."
