The St. Augustine Amphitheatre welcomes Yonder Mountain String Band, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country, and Railroad Earth on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Formed in Colorado in 1998, Yonder Mountain String Band released its debut album in 1999 and has been redefining bluegrass and acoustic music ever since. The group, which includes Coleman Smith on fiddle, Nick Piccininni on fiddle, banjo, and vocals, Adam Aijala on vocals and guitar, Dave Johnston on vocals and banjo, and Ben Kaufmann on bass and vocals, the group is known for pushing boundaries, with traditional roots and progressive improvisation.

Yonder Mountain String Band stays true to its roots while driving the genre forward with innovation and energy. Their discography includes Elevation, Mountain Tracks Volume 1-6, Town by Town, The Show, Black Sheep, Get Yourself Outside, and their most recent album, Nowhere Next.

Guitarist and singer/songwriter Daniel Donato is known for his unique fusion of country, psychedelia, and rock, a style he proudly coins, "Cosmic Country." Drawing inspiration from iconic bands and artists like Grateful Dead, Guns N' Roses, and Willie Nelson, this New Jersey native blends traditional music with experimental sounds.

Donato's journey began in his youth, performing on the streets before landing gigs at Robert's Western World, a legendary honky-tonk establishment in Nashville. Today, he leads the Cosmic Country Band, featuring Will McGee (bass, vocals), Will Clark (drums, vocals), and Nathan Aronowitz (keyboards, guitar, vocals). Donato's discography includes Reflector, Cosmic Country & Western Songs, and his latest album, Silver Patron Saints.

Blending bluegrass, Americana, and jam band genres, Railroad Earth features Todd Sheaffer, John Skehan, Carey Harmon, Mike Robinson, Matt Slocum, and Tim Carbone. Formed in New Jersey in 2001, the band's name was inspired by the poem, "October in the Railroad Earth." Their music explores the depths of the human experience, painting images of nature's beauty through lyrics and instrumentals.

Hailed by Rolling Stone and NPR, this band continues to perform at festivals from coast to coast and garner troves of fans along the way. Their discography includes Ashes & Dust, Bird in a House, The Black Bear Sessions, The Good Life, Elko, Amen Corner, Railroad Earth, Captain Nowhere, and All For the Song.
