On Friday, December 8, 2017, local band The Young Step will return from tour for a hometown show at Cafe Eleven. This performance will be filmed.
The Young Step includes artists Ben Whitson, Micah Gillam, and Lauren Gillam. Their music draws inspiration from acts like The Pixies, The Talking Heads, The Violent Femmes, and The B-52s. The Young Step's debut album, El Clàsico, was recorded in Micah Gillam's home studio in St. Augustine, and was released in December 2016.
