Alcazar Hotel
Sketch of the Alcazar Hotel in St Augustine, Florida.
This is a sketch of what the Alcazar Hotel was supposed to look like when completed in 1889. However, the north annex and grand entrance wings were never actually constructed as architects Carrere and Hastings intended. Carrere and Hastings were also responsible for constructing the Ponce De Leon Hotel, Flagler's first hotel in Saint Augustine, Florida. The Alcazar Hotel closed in 1931. Today it is home to Lightner Museum.
