St George Street

This late 1800's view of St. George Street looks north between Cuna Street and the City Gate. On the left is the Old Curiosity Shop, the Old Toy Museum, and further up the street is the Riberia House. Three of the buildings in this scene exist today including the building on the right -- then the Old Spanish Inn. The old inn is now part of the Colonial Spanish Quarter Museum, a living history museum where re-enactors vividly portray life in St. Augustine in 1740.
