Alejandro Rowinsky
Alejandro Rowinsky is a Florida-based contemporary musician, classical guitarist, composer, and arranger. Rowinsky fuses classical instruments with electronics to create the perfect blend of the past and present.
Although Alejandro Rowinsky currently lives in Florida, he was born in Uruguay and is of Polish decent. For over the past 15 years, he has been playing in bands, as a solo artist, at concert venues, festivals, and grand openings throughout the U.S. Recently, Rowinsky has been playing in concerts at major venues in Chicago, Baltimore, Austin, Miami, Orlando, and New York. He has performed at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Copernicus Center in Chicago, Illinois, Corpus Christi Church in Baltimore, Maryland, Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, Miami Seaplane in Miami, Florida, and many more.
For his solo acts, Rowinsky performs classical guitar compositions, with a versatile performance repertoire that ranges from Renaissance to Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras. After an audition in 2016, Rowinsky was cast as a Walt Disney World guitarist for the strolling set in the Castle of Magic Kingdom in Orlando, as part of the live show "Elena's Royal Welcome." Alejandro Rowinsky was recently featured in the Tony Award-winning musical Man of La Mancha at the Spanish Lyric Theatre in Tampa, Florida, as part of the cast of soloists and orchestra. In St. Augustine, he focuses on classical guitar, incorporating flamenco, rock, Spanish, Latin, and contemporary influences.
