Brett Staska

Native Floridian playing “sunburnt folk-rock.”

You know those beach days? Those lazy, "sleep for too long on the sand" days? "Slow dips in the salty waves once you’re burnt" days? You know the kind.

Brett Staska makes music for those days. (And all the other types of beach days, too, really.)

Florida-Based Genre-Bender

Born and raised on the banks of the Loxahatchee, Brett Staska is a singer-songwriter who performs at music festivals, beach bars, and breweries throughout the Sunshine State.

From his first EP, No Worries (in 2015), to his 2023 album County Line, Staska's tunes hang 10 across the line between country western and surf rock. He ventures into uncharted waters while honoring his musical predecessors (Gram Parson, Willie Nelson, and The Ventures).

Playing Solo and Full Band Shows

Staska is often joined onstage by fellow Florida musicians, taking the name “Brett Staska and the Souvenirs” as a cheeky wink to the state’s history as a tourist destination.
