Coyboi
Two professional musicians creating original music that reflects who they are.
From Jacksonville, the indie pop/rock band Coyboi is the duo of Cortnie Frazier and Ihlan Maglore. Both have been active members of the Jacksonville music scene for years, playing with various cover bands and in studio sessions.
They formed Coyboi in August 2020 to create music that uses their favorite genres: soul, R&B, rock, and emo music. With Coyboi, Cortnie and Ihlan get to create and play the music they want to create and play and take their music in any direction they choose. Their sound draws from pop, gospel, jazz, and rock.
As a duo, Cortnie provides lead vocals and Ihlan plays guitar. In the studio and for live shows, the band adds musicians Ty Sullivan on drums, John Ward on bass, Mitchell Fountain on guitar, and Carlos Visozo on saxophone.
