Craig Smith

Craig Smith is an Iowa-born reggae cover song performer with loads of vocal juice and a great guitar sound. Having started gigging near his hometown of Davenport, Iowa when he was 19 years, old, he is now based in the Jacksonville Beach area. Rooted in the early influences of Jimmy Paige and Jimi Hendricks, or more contemporary guitarists such as Jack Johnson or Dave Matthews, Smith's sound is an extensive cover list of crowd-pleasing favorites.

Smith says that he can read the crowd and morph into whatever they want to hear, whether it is at a wedding, a cocktail hour, or in a bar. Taking his cues from the crowd, he always hopes to find an association, so he can provide whatever the audience loves. The first choice for Smith would be reggae music, as he has a deep catalog from which to draw to keep folks engaged and active.
