Davis and the Loose Cannons
"Country music the way it's supposed to be played"
Davis Loose, a young singer and songwriter from St. Augustine, Florida, put together his first band: Davis and the Loose Cannons while still in high school.
Davis starting playing, writing and singing in the 6th grade, and is inspired by the classic country music, of Merle Haggard, Townes Van Zandt, Marty Stuart, Willie Nelson, and Buck Owens. Davis and the Loose Cannons play old favorites from those musical heroes as well as a growing repertoire of Davis's own songs. "We are a true boot-scootin', toe-tappin', honky-tonkin' band."
Davis and the Loose Cannons are committed to bringing back country music "the way it's supposed to be played." Davis channels the lives of his heroes in his lyrics about smoky ol' honky-tonks, trains, mama, love, drinking, and heartache — writing songs reflecting an understanding of the human condition that belies his age.
