Departure celebrates Journey with their tribute band.
With songs such as, "Don't Stop Believin," " Who's Crying Now," "Faithfully," and other favorites, Departure, a Journey tribute band, rewinds time by performing all the top-chart songs in a two-hour concert. The band entails lead vocalist Brian Williams, Doug Ballard on bass and vocals, Jason Wilson is on the guitar and vocals with Joel Hayes playing the keyboard and guitar.
Having a more rocker-band-style than the real Journey group, Departure adds a subtle "Bon Jovi" ruggedness to vocals while instrumentally hitting the chords with a tad more "sharpness" to the original tunes. Setting themselves apart from Journey yet reintroducing all the classics, the deep appreciation for the band is apparent as Departure carries on Journey's legacy.
