Two music teachers and guitarists who wow audiences and have a lot of fun.
Dion & Collins — Dave Dion and Tim Collins — are music teachers from Palatka who are developing a fan base in St. Augustine with their high-energy shows.
They perform frequently as a duo and occasionally as a trio with accordionist Robby O. Their show features rock 'n roll music played on two acoustic guitars. Both musicians sing and have mad guitar skills, so their guitar solos are not to be missed.
Their covers include songs recorded by The Police, Overkill, Candlebox, The Doobie Brothers, and older favorites such as "Fly Me to the Moon" by Bart Howard.
As teachers, both Dave and Tim have strong ties to the community and frequently perform at fundraisers for arts programs and other causes.
