Frank Douglas

A singer/songwriter from Tallahassee, Frank Douglas is also the lead singer of The Fried Turkeys, a group billed as a neighborhood band. 

One assumes the moniker and subtitle may be a bit tongue-in-cheek because, like Frank, those musicians are not turkeys and that is one talented group of "neighbors." In addition to being the lead singer, Frank is also listed as the band's songwriter. Their website offers the following descriptors of their music: greasy, roots, hippy, and country.

Setting aside "greasy," the rest aptly describes Frank's music. He's a prolific songwriter who can bring a listener to tears or a fit of laughter. His upcoming solo album, produced by Gatorbone Studios, contains 11 new, original songs. It's clearly a labor of love for Frank and a gift to his fans — those who have known his music for years, and those just discovering him.
