From Georgia, the Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir screams their songs as if they were angry with the world — and perhaps they are. The four members of this band all perform with other bands as well. With the Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir they wanted to start a band that allowed them to provide a musical commentary on the way they interpret current events and the things that have happened in their lives.
They released their first album in 2021, saying that they had striven to be involved in all aspects of it, from the songwriting through post-production. Their message seems to be that the world is on fire, but they feel hope in the collective consciousness and they encourage everyone to take care of each other. Most of this is conveyed by the harshest of punk rock voice and instrumentation.
