Høly River

This duo share a musical talent and a passion for the environment, particularly our oceans and waterways.

Laney Sullivan and Jameson Price of Høly River (formerly known as Lobo Marino) have chosen to live intentional lives, focused on wellness and sustainability, and they compose and sing songs that reflect their values.

Laney, lead vocalist, plays harmonium and banjo, while Jameson also plays banjo and creates a heartbeat for each song on a drum and other percussion instruments.

Their music is haunting and experimental; at times melodic and at other times more of a chant. The beat never stops, never overpowers, and always draws listeners into the motion of the river, the feel of wind in a field of grain, or the calming meditation of a spiritual guide.

As Lobo Marino and now as Høly River, the duo performs internationally at large festivals and backyard fire pits. At home in Richmond, Virginia, they have founded "Earth Folk Collective," a community space for performances and for workshops on wellness and sustainability.
