Jesse Rice
An artist who loves the island and pirate life in and out of his songs.
Jesse Rice migrated from South Carolina's Low Country to Nashville and began his publishing career, becoming a staff songwriter. In early 2011, Jesse released Something Strong, a collection of his own songs.
As a prolific songwriter, Jesse Rice's tunes have become hits by major names such as Florida Georgia Line, Ashley McBryde, Nelly, and Colt Ford.
An award-winning songwriter, musician, and performer, Jesse has been recognized by Billboard, the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers, the Country Music Awards, the American Music Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Trop Rock Music Awards.
Jesse's current project is his fourth-in-a-series, The Pirate Sessions IV, which he initiated in 2012 as a collection of pirate songs and island-y beach music. Jesse says "In my heart I really believe that that's who I am as an artist and where I'm most at home…".
