Kairos Creature Club

Off-the-beat Jacksonville band with Krautrock and Trash Pop influences.

Kairos Creature Club, founded by Jacksonville locals Lena Simon and Glenn Michael Van Dyke, brings to the stage a kaleidoscope of cerebral music experimentation and artistic rebellion. With a DIY attitude, the group combines krautrock and trash pop elements that resonate with listeners who have a rebellious streak.

Kairos Creature Club uses synthetic sounds to create a sonic signature that refuses to sit squarely in any single genre. The band's unbridled creativity transcends the conventions of mainstream music, all the while piecing together powerful hooks and melodies.

Kairos Creature Club's debut EP Join the Club was a collection of songs recorded at Simon and Van Dyke's home studio in Jacksonville, Florida, during the pandemic. The album goes beyond challenging music conventions, cleverly critiquing societal structures with playful, sarcastic lyrics.
