Lee Thomas MIller

Lee Thomas Miller has written several # 1 hits on the country charts.

From Kentucky, Lee Miller graduated from Kentucky University with a degree in music theory and composition and moved to Nashville directly after graduation to start his career as a songwriter.

Twelve years later, Blackhawk released “Days of America,” and Lee had his first chart single. Later that year, Joe Nichols released “The Impossible,” and Terri Clark released “I Just Wanna Be Mad.” Both of those songs received one million radio plays.

So far, Lee Thomas Miller has written or co-written #1 songs on the country chart recorded by Brad Paisley, Joe Nichols, Terri Clark, Trace Adkins, and Tim McGraw. In addition, he has written 18 top 20 singles.

His songs have received three Grammy nominations, and he has won the coveted “Song of the Year” award for both the CMA and the ACM. Members of the Nashville Songwriters Association have awarded Lee the "Songs I Wish I Had Written" trophy four times.

Lee states it simply: I write songs.
