Mikel Paris
A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, video producer, and musical collaborator.
Mikel Paris’s career is varied, worldwide, melodic, and with loads of rhythm. He performed in STOMP, has backed up PINK, Jewel, and Train, and plays keyboards with the touring band for O.A.R.
Over the years, he has learned to focus on enjoying the process, creating his own music, and developing a strong solo career. Through it all, he’s learned that the business of music includes creating partnerships, building relationships, and helping others. That appreciation of collaboration and others is reflected in his songs.
A singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Mikel is trained in classical piano and has developed his own technique of what he calls “guitar drumming.” His songwriting is witty and relatable, and his performances have a bit of spontaneity.
In addition to performing, during his tours, Mikel creates videos of an iconic historic building in the area and writes a tune about the property. Watch for his videos under the title Tune Trek.
