The Original Wailers
The Original Wailers keep the Bob Marley legacy jammin.'
In the 1960s, Bob Marley and the Wailers, inspired by a ska vocal group, changed the course of music history. In 1974, Marley went out as a solo act, and Al Anderson became the first American lead guitarist to join the reggae group. Anderson holds the reign in carrying on the Marley legacy via The Original Wailers.
With their album, Miracle, receiving a Grammy nomination in 2013, The Original Wailers are still performing nationwide in 2022 as the 'Marley generation,' continue to get up, stand up. On vocals is Chet Samuel (lead vocals/guitar), Paapa Nyarkoh (drums) Omar Lopez (bass guitar), and Adrian AK Cisneros (keyboards and organ) with Al Anderson blazing it up, one town at a time.
