Parks and Razz
Rousing indie rock with big stage energy and Jacksonville roots.
Parks and Razz burst onto the Jacksonville music scene in 2021 with high-energy indie pop/rock and an unrelenting drive. They quickly became a staple act at popular venues such as Jackrabbits and the 1904 Music Hall. Now, they're tackling bigger stages and ambitious recording projects.
The group consists of Lauren Wessling (vocals), Joshua Parks (guitar), Joseph Zapinski (bass), Seth Miller (guitar), and Adam Mostel (drums). Their sound has both mainstream and underground qualities. Wessling's vocals, reminiscent of early Gwen Stefani, feature a bright timbre and a subtle vibrato that complement the band's guitar-driven sound.
Parks and Razz plan to wrap up a recording project that promises to capture the defining raw energy of their stage shows as they continue winning over fans and delivering high-octane performances.
