Patrick "Hammer" Thornton studied music at George Mason University and received a professional certification as a bassist from the Berklee College of Music. Thornton has played bass guitar for more than 33 years and is known for his adaptive style, accompanying artists such as Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Jon Carroll, Junior Marvin, and Stephen Kellog. 

Thornton has contributed bass tracks to various bands throughout his career. He's also toured alongside The Pat McGee Band, The Benjy Davis Project, and Toby Lightman. Whether nailing a performance for 35,000 people or stepping in as a bassist for another group, Thornton leverages his diverse musical background and ability to collaborate with other musicians, broadening his skill set and adding depth to his sound.
