Paul Izak

Paul Izak's personal policy in life and music is "keep planting and building."

Paul Izak's personal policy of his life and friendships, his music, and organic farming is the same: "keep planting and building." Paul's music foundation began with soloing in his 2nd-grade chorus, developed into songwriting at age 14, and during his late teen years, the reggae band Pressure Drop saw frontman Paul captivate crowds with his hand drum, harmonica, and mellifluous vocals.

As a former Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, and Jerry Lee Louis impersonator, Izak found a new voice in the blues and his harmonica, developing into a music-and-spirituality-on-the-land mindset named Yogarden in his native Hawaii.

With music based in reggae, folk, blues, and rock, Paul established a drum circle on Kailua Beach, embodying the "freedom of unlimited creative expression" for his community. Societal consciousness is a recurring theme in Izak's music, through which he emphasizes awareness of our fellow man's struggles and how each of us might be of service to others.
