Phil Barton

Phil Barton is an Australian songwriter with a diverse portfolio, he has written over 800 children’s songs and pop and country records since he moved to the United States.

All the way from Sydney, Australia, Phil Barton moved to Nashville, Tennessee so he could expand his musical career. Phil has had several of his songs recorded by the likes of Lee Brice, Sara Evans, Eli Young Band, David Nail, and many other artists. He was awarded "Breakthrough Songwriter" of 2012 in the Music Row Awards and has his first #1 Billboard song with Lee Brice's hit "A Woman Like You". The song went double platinum in the United States and won him a NSAI Award for "One of the Ten Songs I Wish I'd Written". His music has appeared in 2016 three times Oscar nominated film "Sicario", and television shows like "Nashville" and video games such as "Sims". Over his career, he has written over 800 country, children's, and pop records around the world.
