Tom Edwards
Tom Edwards, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, is drawn to songs that tell a story.
In addition to writing songs and performing, Tom Edwards plays guitar, banjo, mandoline, harmonica, and bass. He performs as a solo act, and with the band he co-founded, "Gnarley Fingers."
Tom writes songs that are poignant and whimsical, and that tell a story or paint a picture of a person or event. He calls them "story songs." He moves back and forth between homes in Georiga and Jacksonville, and frequently writes about the people, places, and events in both states.
Wnen Tom performs he mixes it up, playing songs he wrote, followed by a favorite from John Prine or other artists he admires.
