Chill Strawberry presents Halloweekend, an immersive all-ages event, at The Lab by Maritime Studios on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Guests are invited to explore, discover, and play in their very own Halloween Village—a place where Halloween lives. Stroll through the mysterious curiosity shop, filled with strange and fantastical artifacts collected from the darkest corners of the witchy world. Then step inside the Grey Witch's cottage, where she tirelessly battles the Grumpkin.

The St. Augustine Film Society presents a screening of the French comedy and drama, Rose (2021) on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Written and produced by Aurélie Saada, the story follows a widow struggling after her beloved husband's death. With an uplifting message about how it's never too late to live your life to its fullest potential, Rose's family dynamic is turned upside down as she evolves.

Admission: $8.00 for the public. Students and St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

The St. Augustine Film Society hosts a showing and discussion panel of the powerful documentary, The Year Earth Changed (2021) on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Augustine Yacht Club. This event is a part of the ECO Cinema Film series and is partnering with Beaches Go Green.

Narrated by David Attenborough and directed by Tom Beard, the story centers around the COVID-19 pandemic and its life-changing effects on nature. It reveals how some good came out of lockdown, including the environment flourishing and recovering without human interference.
