Hailing from Tennessee, Trae Crowder is best known for his work on "The Liberal Redneck Manifesto," where he humorously tackles political and religious topics. Starting his career in his twenties at open mic nights, Crowder gained fame for his portrayal of the character the Liberal Redneck, earning millions of views and comedy fans. His unique approach to politics, blended with humor, was recognized by The Huffington Post, The New York Post, HBO, MSNBC, and others.

The City of St. Augustine welcomes the Corvera Pipe Band in celebration of the Sister City relationship between St. Augustine and the much older city of Avilés, Spain. 

On Friday, March 8, 2024, the Banda de Gaites de Corvera dé Asturies (the Corvera Pipe Band) will perform in the Plaza de la Constitución from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The Banda de Gaites de Corvera dé Asturies will perform that afternoon on the dock of the Municipal Marina, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., near the Spanish replica of the tall ship, the Nao Trinidad.

Influenced by legendary artists like Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Stevie Wonder, among others, singer-songwriter Mutlu is dedicated to crafting music that blends soul, jazz, and hip-hop elements. He launched his career in Philadelphia and has since become a prominent figure in the music scene.

Seattle native Bo Johnson made waves in the comedy circuit by amassing millions of views on TikTok and gaining recognition for his stand-up routines on Netflix and Comedy Central. Touring across the United States and beyond, Johnson headlined prestigious festivals like Bumbershoot, Prize Fest, SF Sketchfest, and more.

Johnson's antics and routines continue to earn him rave reviews from major media outlets such as Cosmopolitan.

The Lightner Museum presents The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art, celebrating America's Gilded Age. The exhibit opens on Friday, November 17, 2023, and will remain open through March 14, 2024. 

Art Nouveau was particularly popular from the 1890s to the First World War. Those who created pieces in the Art Nouveau style challenged the accepted norms and celebrated nature with vibrant colors, curves, and asymmetric compositions.
