After arriving from Italy in 1978, Al began his career working in New York and New Jersey pizzerias for a decade before opening up his own restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida. An old Gate station in Ponte Vedra Beach went from pumpkin to carriage status as it transformed into Al's pizza. Where fresh-ingredients-only is the motto, it is also the leading influencer in the success of Al's award-winning pizza.
In addition to Pizza, choices include pasta dishes, lasagna, and a kid's menu for the little ones. As a way to show his support to the community, Al and his family are contributors of the Beaches Habitat for Humanity, an organization that assists people by building or acquiring a home for them.
