Formerly the Asian Deli Restaurant, the Andaman Asian Bistro presents food from mainland Southeast Asia, principally from Thailand and Vietnam.
The Thai menu offers appetizers such as chicken satay, Thai dumplings, soft shell crab, and crab rangoons. Main dish specialties include crispy duck, Andaman pad Thai (steamed lobster tails and stir-fried rice noodles), and pan-seared salmon. It also offers Thai and miso soups, salads, stir-fry, curry, and noodle dishes.
Select a pho dish with beef, rare steak, meatballs, beef noodles, and brisket. Northern Vietnamese soup dishes include chicken, duck, pork, seafood, and vegetarian options — as do their vermicelli noodle bowls.
As for sushi, try cucumber-wrapped, chef's, tempura, and basic/hand rolls. Sushi platters are offered with various pairings and combinations — rainbow and California rolls, tuna sashimi, and hamachi.
