The beloved Back 40 has a location in Fruit Cove. It pays homage to the original menu by offering items with fusion flavors from regions closer to the equator: signature quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and wraps. It also has a generous selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and salads.
A few dessert specials to enjoy are the restaurant's homemade key lime pie, mud pie, and chocolate chip brownie.
Happy hour is daily from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. where tacos are $3.00 each. All dressings and salsa are made in the kitchen, and they keep local by carrying their own datil pepper sauce.
Guests may dine in or choose to do takeout. It's open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and only closes at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
