Mayita, Casa Maya's sister restaurant, serves authentic Mexican cuisine and beverages. It also includes a mini-market inside for all your shopping needs.
Brunch is offered all day with a variety of items: Apocalypto torta (omelet with chorizo and cheese, tomatoes, bacon, guacamole, and refried beans), pancakes, avocado toast, and huevos rancheros (fried eggs on tortillas, refried beans, and red/green sauce). The sides are grits, yogurt, home fries, rice, and longaniza (Spanish sausage).
Select a few appetizers for the table such as esquites (corn with chipotle mayo, cilantro, and spices), queso, guacamole, and ceviche (shrimp/octopus, avocado, and onions on corn tostadas).
Street tacos, quesadillas, salads, and main entrees — a la diabla (grilled chicken covered in diabla salsa) and enchiladas — are available.
The eatery provides Mexican beers, wines, and homemade waters/juices.
It's closed on Tuesdays.
