The Modern Rose, a favorite restaurant in several Florida towns, is expanding to St. Augustine and will open at 62 Cuna Street in November.
Known for artisanal coffees, curated teas, and a menu of delicious and lovingly presented breakfast and brunch treats, The Modern Rose has consistently been placed on “best of” lists under the categories of "best café" and "best brunch." They serve customers in many ways: as a coffee shop, tea house, and the place to enjoy baked goods and brunch all day.

The Modern Rose in St. Augustine will offer seating indoors and out, and serve fresh-baked goods, comforting breakfasts, and decadent brunches. In addition to mouthwatering foods, they take great pride in serving signature hot and cold drinks, with more than 50 varieties of organic and boutique teas plus locally roasted and freshly ground organic coffee. Sample cold drinks at The Modern Rose include a simple serving of strawberry milk, green tea with blue matcha and three tropical fruits, black tea with a hint of mango and passion fruit, as well as iced caramel macchiato.
The Modern Rose bakery selection changes daily and includes gluten-free and vegan options. Their menu items feature gastronomic delights and old favorites. The restaurant's "basic" avocado toast is served on Tuscan bread, and topping options include prosciutto, smoked salmon, and mango-marinated shrimp with peanuts.
Brunch choices range from breakfast “sammies” to paninis, omelets, greens, fruits, a modern egg pizza, and bakery treats.
