Michael's

Michael's has been a staple for locals and tourists visiting the oldest city. Michael Lugo, chef and owner, started his legacy in historic downtown and continues to surprise guests with delectable dishes out in Vilano Beach. The diverse menu pays homage to Spanish and European influences, and a curated selection of wines, spirits, and craft cocktails. It offers both a casual and elegant dining experience that specializes in steak and seafood. It has become one of the finest restaurants in the area.

Its menu changes seasonally with all items made from scratch and locally grown and sourced. Starters include empanadas, salads, cast iron shrimp, beef carpaccio, and a bread plate. Shareables for the table are served—brussel sprouts, miso butter mushrooms, truffle fries, market vegetables, and roasted carrots.

Try the featured main dishes: salmon filet, la chamba chicken, cavatelli pasta, and Atlantic swordfish. Select from an assortment of steaks such as filet mignon, ribeye, and wagyu strip. For non-steak lovers, order shrimp scampi, blue cheese, ravioli, foie gras, and lobster.

Pair any meal with a bottle from the award-winning wine library, which has won a Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence which recognizes the top 1,500 wine lists worldwide—Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, New Zealand, and California.
