Beaches Marina — Boat Rentals

Beaches Marina at Vilano Beach rents jet skis, 20-foot pontoon boats, and a 20-foot Key West, all just over the Vilano Bridge, next to Beaches at Vilano restaurant.

Jet Skis

The truly adventurous who are over 18, can rent Yahama Wave Runners and spend an hour or longer, touring the rivers and along St. Augustine, stopping at one of the sandbars, and enjoying a fun day on the water. These jet skis can each take two people—the rental includes fuel, life jackets, and operating instructions. 

The team from Beaches Marina is delighted to help plan extended or customized jet ski excursions for those who want to see more of the area.

20' Key West

Equipped for cruising along the rivers or fishing with the aid of a trolling motor, the Key West is available to rent for four or eight hours. 

Pontoon Boats

The 20-foot pontoon boats at Beaches Marina hold 10 people and can be rented for a half or full day. These boats are perfect for a cruise along the inland waters, having a picnic ashore, and visiting the smaller rivers that enter the Matanzas. Along the way, you can see wildlife, a diverse shoreline, birds, and the City of St. Augustine. Several restaurants in the area have docks, and it's also possible to pull up to a beach for a group swim.

Boating Safety and Rules

All boats are equipped with depth sounders, life jackets, and other safety gear. 

Only those 18 and older may rent a wave-runner or motor boat in Florida, and those born after January 1, 1988, must have a Florida Boating License. The staff at Beaches Marina can provide temporary boating certificates and will go over the basic boat operations and the rules on the water.

The Beaches Marina dock offers parking in the lot at Beaches at Vilano restaurant, 250 Vilano Road, St. Augustine. Beaches at Vilano is a sister company of Beaches Marina. Stop by to grab snacks or a meal from Beaches at Vilano to take on your cruise.
