Beaches Water Tours

Depart from Vilano for a tour of St. Augustine’s Waterfront aboard the motor vessel Exodus.

This comfortable 53-foot pontoon boat holds 49 passengers for daytime, sunset, and nightlife cruises along the Matanzas River. A comfortable pontoon boat, the Exodos offers easy access after a short walk along the pier. The boat is fully covered to protect passengers from the hot Florida sun, whether sitting along the sides, or at a table in the middle. The Exodus is equipped with a bar and sink, a stereo system, LED lights, and a bathroom.

Dolphin Tours

Beaches Water Tours offer their 90-minute Dolphin and Nature Tour at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:20 p.m., seven days a week. An experienced captain and mate will point out the architecture and the wildlife, as the boat glides past St. Augustine’s bayfront, and into the smaller, hidden inlets.

Depending on the time of year, guests may see dolphins, sea turtles, beautiful jellyfish, and even a manatee. While the captain steers the boat, protecting both wildlife and passengers, those on board can relax and watch osprey and pelicans dive for their dinner.

No refreshments are served aboard—guests are invited to bring their own snacks and drinks.

A private party for friends at sunset

Sunset Cruise

Each evening Exodus departs the dock at 6:30 p.m. for a sunset cruise along the Matanzas and Tolomato Rivers. Relax on deck and watch the light play over the water and historic buildings of St. Augustine, as the sun’s descent turns the sky from blue to gold, orange, and red. The view is just as lovely to the east, as the moon rises and a reflection of the sunset glows softly. The tour also passes St. Augustine landmarks, including the Bridge of Lions, the Castillo de San Marcos, and the bayfront.

Guests are invited to bring snacks and drinks.

Night-time Party Cruise

As the Exodus travels past the lovely city of St. Augustine at night, guests can sip cocktails and dance to beats provided by an onboard DJ. The city lights sparkle on the water, and if the weather cooperates, the night sky offers a view of the stars, moon, and the light from St. Augustine’s iconic lighthouse.

As on the other Exodus cruises, guests may bring drinks and snacks.

Private Cruises

Have a private party for friends, family, colleagues, or team. The bar area will hold a buffet and the drinks you bring aboard, while you mix, mingle, dance, and enjoy all the views from the Exodus deck.

The boat is available for informal weddings and rehearsal dinners, birthdays, graduations, corporate functions, and more.

Private trips can be booked for one-and-a-half hours, up to 10 hours. You can help plan the route, stops, and events on board to suit your group, and the possibilities are endless:

  • Bring drinks and party foods on board for a relaxed evening gathering.
  • Hire a caterer or restaurant to provide the food — the restaurant Beaches at Vilano is right next door.
  • Reserve the boat for a longer charter, and stop at one of the restaurants on the water, enjoying pre-dinner drinks and post-dinner dessert on board.
  • Host a daytime birthday party that the whole family can enjoy.
