St. Augustine True History Tours, founded by former National Park Service Rangers and college history professors, takes a different spin on its guided presentations. They focus on telling a chronological story of the city and its people, while still signifying the importance of the sites visited. Two tours are available: History Walk and Dark History Walk.
If you want to learn about the past and the culture/heritage that shaped the current Ancient City, tag along on the St. Augustine History Walk. These two-hour tours are available daily at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for $30.00 per person.
The St. Augustine Dark History Walk is available at 7:30 p.m. for $30.00 per person. This two-hour tour goes through the trials and tribulations of the city, such as fires, foreign invasions, pirates, diseases, and unsolved murders. This is not a ghost tour, but gives a glimpse into the tragedies St. Augustine has overcome in its more than 450 years of history.
Guides take groups of up to 30 people. All ages are welcome.
