The building at 301 N. Main echoes the spirit of a bygone era in Hastings. Originally constructed in 1927 as the Hastings Motor Company, it quickly became a fixture in the town. In 1929, the building reopened as Stanton Motors, a proud Ford dealership led by Christopher Charles Stanton Sr. For more than half a century, Stanton Motors remained a family-run business, serving as a pillar of the community and providing reliable automotive services to locals while embodying the entrepreneurial spirit that defined the early 20th-century growth of small American towns.

The building’s recent restoration has preserved its historical essence while breathing new life into its enduring presence on Main Street. In recognition of its significance, the St. Johns County Cultural Resource Review Board designated the building a "significant cultural resource," underscoring its importance in Hastings’ commercial development at the turn of the century.

Now beautifully restored, the building stands as a hub for local events in Hastings. The Venue at Historic Stanton Ford is available for weddings, birthday celebrations, reunions, concerts, corporate events, and local markets.
