Come for the music. Stay for the food and fun. St. Augustine’s 2024 Sing Out Loud Festival includes a two-day showcase at historic downtown's Francis Field on Saturday and Sunday, September 22 and 23.

This singer, songwriter, and actor gained national fame writing "The Weary Kind."
An emotionally rich blend of folk and pop, with heartfelt lyrics and a raspy baritone.
Two young brothers discover and experiment with their alternative sound.

More Music for Sing Out Loud

Sing Out Loud presents live music from September 6 through September 30, 2024

More great acts are coming to town for Sing Out Loud, including Pokey Lafarge and Trampled by Turtles. 

Plus, local showcases featuring the area's favorite local musicians, take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in September.

Finally, on the last weekend of the month, the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival brings Nashville songwriters to town for a free three-day celebration of music.

Pokey LaFarge

A live act influnced by early country, swing, jazz, folk, and even Vaudeville.

Pokey LaFarge, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and showman released his eighth studio album Rhumba Country in February of 2024. From Illinois, one of Pokey's grandfathers interested him in music and got him a guitar and a banjo. The other was a history buff and taught him about the Civil War and WWII.

Nashville songwriters perform during three days of free concerts.

The 7th Annual St. Augustine Songwriters Festival will fill St. Augustine's historic district with music from Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29, 2024. Presented by the St. Augustine Amphitheatre's Sing Out Loud Festival, the Songwriters Festival concludes Sing Out Loud with three days of country music.

Trampled By Turtles at the Backyard Stage

Blending bluegrass and folk music with a touch of rock.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents Trampled By Turtles with special guests the Crowe Boys on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Bandmates Tim Saxhaug on bass, Erik Berry on mandolin, Ryan Young on fiddle, Dave Carroll on banjo, and frontman Dave Simonett make up Trampled by Turtles.

Sing Out Loud Music Festival

Sing Out Loud brings together an eclectic mix of acts for concerts in September.

St. Augustine will again host one of the biggest music festivals in the Southeast this September when the Sing Out Loud Music Festival returns for its event season. Sing Out Loud 2024 takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 29 (with one event on Thursday, the 19th.
