North Main Street in Hastings is home to several events.
Newly designated as a Florida Main Street organization, Hastings Main Street works to promote the town of Hastings while celebrating the area's vibrant past and looking forward to a newly active local business community.
Currently, they promote the town by hosting events and conversations. As of spring 2024, Hastings Main Street has plans for a new park, a renovated community center and venue, and a new trade school.
In the meantime, the organization hosts and promotes events, such as the Cabbage Bacon and Potato Festival, several antique car shows, and the Hastings Pop-up Market. The region is also home to the St. Johns County Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve.
